To make a long story short, DJ Hero is pretty much Guitar Hero… except thay you use a turntable imitation as a game controller, as opposed to a imitation guitar. Other than that, game mechanics work very much in the same way.
You know how it goes… as the music plays, so does a track comprised of three separate colors spins toward the bottom of the screen. While the track plays, you’re expected to press the button matching the colors on-screen.
